Overall, this is a great story and I think it will definitely capture the attention of anyone that picks it up. O esbarrão, a ida ao bar, ficar esperando o turno acabar, chamar ela pra morar com ele, a construção da família e eu simplesmente AMEIIIII ele ter virado um cara do corporativo ao invés de uma grande estrela do futebol americano porque ele só queria ser um cara família enquanto a Ava realizava seu sonho em se tornar uma médica. Ava is a fighter: she had learned to fight for her and her young brother's survival while being raised by a drug addicted mother in Tennessee.

Now Ava is attending Camden Prep as a senior on scholarship, she's got one hell of a backbone and goals that no one can take from her. These two had been through some serious crap and it made them seem so much more mature than other high schoolish books. Sigh* The way they couldn’t take their eyes off each other and were so thirsty for every scrap of knowledge to fill in the gaps.

Knox is one of Camden Prep’s elite on the outside, on the inside, however, there is a completely different story.

A man of every woman’s dreams, he had me fanning myself and had I not had my own swoony hero, I would have jumped in the book to grab him!Ava was trying to remember what happened that night and figure out how to support her special needs brother with no parents.

It was such a clear picture of how mental health can play such a big role in how people react to their circumstances. The kids at school all think she's a snitch for telling the police about what happened at that party.Everything goes around what happens to her at the beginning of the book, along with their family issues and personal development.
